Technician - Rental Services

ObjectiveRental Mechanic will perform efficient and thorough mechanical repairs and or maintenance of all rental equipment in the shop.
ResponsibilitiesPrimary
Responsibilities:
Perform basic troubleshooting and diagnosing of equipment malfunctions and failures Assist in rebuilding, repairing, and maintaining equipment and components Understands the operation, function, specifications, capabilities and controls of any piece of rental equipment Completes all documents associated with repairs in a accurate and timely manner Adhere to manager's and lead mechanic's directions regarding all repairs and service calls Adheres to all safety rules and maintains quality housekeeping in work areaQualificationsRequired:
High School Diploma or GED 1 year or more of work related experience in a mechanic/technician related positionPreferred Certificate acquired through a vocational or technical school 3 years or more of work related experience with heavy equipment preferably with a rental company or Caterpillar and/or in a position with a working knowledge of hydraulics, powertrain, electronic/electrical systems etc.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
