We are currently hiring Machine Equipment Repair Specialists for second and third shifts.
Apply today! ROLE SUMMARY This role involves repairing production machines, including die cast machines, CNCs, and facility support equipment such as air compressors, process water systems, and cooling towers.
Additionally, the position entails rebuilding and installing production equipment as necessary.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Identify and address electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical issues.
Perform urgent repairs throughout the facility.
Rebuild equipment when required.
Interpret and understand schematics and blueprints, particularly in the electrical and hydraulic domains.
Troubleshoot PLC interface functionality and resolve complex PLC problems.
Diagnose and rectify complex process issues.
Train and collaborate with fellow Machine Equipment Repair Specialists.
Install new equipment, rebuild and modify existing equipment.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Carry out other assigned job-related tasks.
WORKING CONDITIONS This role involves working in a heavy manufacturing environment, with exposure to noise, extreme temperatures, dirt, grease, smoke, dust, and molten metal.
It may also require working at heights and assuming awkward positions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS This job requires physical exertion, including occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
The candidate will regularly need to sit, stand, walk, and occasionally bend and move around the facility.
QUALIFICATIONS Completion of technical school in a relevant field AND at least one (1) year of maintenance experience, OR a high school diploma with a minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience.
Ability to work independently or supervise small groups.
Strong knowledge of TPM activities.
Familiarity with work order systems (ERP).
Excellent communication skills.
Exceptional attention to detail.
