This position serves as a paraprofessional, under the supervision of our Youth Services Librarian, providing services to our younger patrons and their caregivers.
Responsibilities include public service duties at the circulation desk, shelving, shelf reading, programming, reading recommendations, and outreach services, including but not limited to the Boy's and Girl's Club.
Qualifications Positive experience working with children.
High school diploma or equivalent Computer skills with some experience in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, email and the ,Internet Current driver license with good driving record Skills:
Ability to successfully interact and communicate with people of all ages; service oriented, self-motivated; perform job responsibilities with a high level of attention to detail; work independently with minimal supervision; work well within a team; basic keyboarding skills and use of email and the Internet.
Hours:
Monday through Thursday from 1:
00 pm to 8:
00 pm and one rotating Saturday every six weeks, 9:
00 am to 4:
00 pm.
No Sundays! Pay:
$12.
