Catron's Glass, Inc Catron's Glass, Inc Richmond, IN Richmond, IN Full-time Full-time $50,000 - $65,000 a year $50,000 - $65,000 a year 3 days ago 3 days ago 3 days ago Duties - Oversee and manage the estimating department, ensuring accurate and timely completion of project estimates - Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for estimating purposes - Analyze project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents to determine project requirements - Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs - Utilize construction estimating software to create accurate estimates - Review and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing - Monitor and track project costs throughout the construction process, making adjustments as necessary to maintain budgetary goals - Provide guidance and support to the estimating team, including training on estimating software and best practices Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field (preferred) - Proven experience in commercial glazing estimating, including cost control and contract negotiation - Strong knowledge of project management principles and practices - Proficient in using construction estimating software such as Partner Pak - Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex project documents - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in preparing estimates - Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Note:
